5 reasons why you quickly become addicted to diamond painting
For the past few months, Ma Ville en Diamant has been attracting more and more creative hobby enthusiasts. Their concept? To transform the most beautiful cities into sparkling works of art that can be created by oneself.
We asked Romane, who created the Bordeaux model from Ma Ville en Diamant, what she thought of it.
“I thought it would just be a fun hobby… but seeing Bordeaux gradually appear is really addictive. In the end, I was proud to have done it myself, I was so happy with the result.”
Reason #2:
It's strangely satisfying.
The little “click” of the diamond. The colors that align perfectly. Each completed square gives that immediate feeling of progress. We see the image transforming… and we just want to see what happens next.
Reason #3:
We finally allow ourselves a real moment for ourselves.
Let's make ourselves a hot drink. We put on some music, or a movie in the background. We're making slow progress on his canvas… And for a while, you don't think about anything anymore. We really disconnect.
Reason #4:
You feel a real sense of pride at the end.
The last diamond is being laid. We're taking a step back. And we say to ourselves: “I did it myself.”
Reason #5:
We're starting to want to do them all.
Once finished, we look at the other cities from My Diamond City And the hardest part becomes… choosing the next one. 😅
