This is a deliberate choice, and we wanted to explain it to you simply.
Round diamonds or square diamonds: what are the differences?
In diamond painting, there are two types of diamonds:

round diamonds ,

square diamonds .
Square diamonds may seem a little more delicate at first, especially when starting out.
But in the vast majority of cases, it's simply a matter of habit.
Why did we choose square diamonds?
At Ma Ville en Diamant, we have chosen to work exclusively with square diamonds for a simple reason:
👉 the final result is more precise and sharper .
The square diamonds align perfectly against each other, without any gaps.
This allows the details, contrasts and nuances of the visuals to stand out more clearly.
This is what truly highlights the illustration work and gives the diamond painting its highly detailed appearance once completed.

Although square diamonds sometimes require a little getting used to, the gesture quickly becomes natural.
